There is always room for improvement, no matter how good a product is: With our Tuning Boom Vang you can easily and precisely adjust the boats luff fully closed with slight wind, increasingly opened up as the wind intensifies. The rest can be done via the backstay adjustment while sailing across the water. And the boom vang also provides for an easy and comfortable changeover to lug sails.
The tuning keel made of carbon and lead weighs just a tiny 150g more than the standard keel (dyed red on the picture to the left) and, what is more, goes a significant 45mm deeper, thus allowing for even greater beating qualities. Moreover, we moved the centre of gravity back and optimised the hydrodynamics of both fin and keel bomb ? for significantly higher reaching velocities, especially at strong wind.
