Maxi-Segel für Superyachten
Wir verfolgen bei unseren Modellen eine Plattformstrategie: Möglichst viele Teile sollen untereinander austauschbar sein, um die Stückzahlen zu erhöhen. Dadurch erwarten wir, daß wir langfristig die Preise senken können. Daher sind sämtliche Segel vom VO-Racer sind so auf diesem Schiff verwendbar: Unsere Segel sind aus Segeltuch, im 3DL-Design bedruckt. Die Segel sind profiliert und werden darum aus mehreren Bahnen geklebt und danach vernäht. Das Großsegel-Vorlieksband ist mit superleichtem Spistoff eingenäht, damit das Großsegel bei wenig Wind in der Wende umklappt. Alle Segellatten sind aus hochfester und leichter Kohlefaser.

VO-Racer-Leichtwindsegel = Supermaxi-Mittelwindsegel
Die Leichtwindsegel des VO-Racers eignen sich bestens als Mittelwindsegel für den Supermaxi. Das Großsegel twistet kontrolliert in den Böen und kann über die Achterstagsverstellung gezielt im oberen Bereich geöffnet werden. Dank dem steileren Vorstagswinkel des Supermaxi kommt das Unterliek der Fock bei Krängung nicht ins Wasser.
Einsatzbereich: 3-5 Beaufort.

VO-Racer-Mittelwindsegel = Supermaxi-Starkwindsegel
Beide Segel sind oben extrem ausgestellt. Dadurch behalten die Segel viel Schub in den Windlöchern, während in der Böe der obere Bereich kontrolliert twistet. Im Großsegel ist etwas Mast-Vorbiegung berücksichtigt. Die Unterlieken sind hinten hoch geschnitten, damit die Bäume bei Welle und Krängung nicht ins Wasser kommen, und das Boot aus dem Ruder läuft.

VO-Racer-Starkwindsegel = Supermaxi-Trysegel
Die VO-Starkwindsegel/Trysegel werden bei Verwendung auf dem Supermaxi mit besonderen Verstärkungen gebaut. Im Großsegel ist viel Mastfall und eine stärkere Mastbiegung berücksichtigt ist, damit der Segeldruckpunkt nach hinten wandert. So konnte auch bei der Fock ein schlankes, effektives Profil realisiert werden, ohne dass das Boot luvgierig wird. Beide Segel sind stark ausgestellt und twisten in den Böen automatisch. Die Unterlieken sind hinten sehr hoch geschnitten, damit die Bäume bei hoher Welle und Krängung nicht ins Wasser kommen.
Einsatzbereich: 6 Beaufort und mehr
