The Blohm + Voss model yacht in the "Quad Hydrojet Alexseal Gloss Coat Edition"

The yachts of the "Quad Hydrojet Alexseal Gloss Coat Edition" are equipped with everything to meet the requirements of a mega yacht model. But it doesn´t just have the good looks, but also offers impressive, remote-controlled driving pleasure. Due to the extreme driving performance we do without any fine details like a rail or radar - because these would not survive a rollover. Having a slim forebody with an opulently elegantly overhanging bow, the mega yacht is very seaworthy and absolutely non-capsizing - this is crucial with the extreme level of motorisation. But the bow thruster also allows the yacht to manoeuvre slowly into every desired position.

The hull and assembly of this high performance model boat are extremely solid, but still lightweight. To achieve that we consequently used vacuum technology using Carbon/Epoxy in the construction process. All built-in components are made off Carbon sandwich. Using CAD-designed / CNC-milled moulds and more than 20 mounting fixtures, we can secure a consistent and high manufacturing quality.

Handling the model yacht is very convenient. The aluminium cover can be open within seconds by loosening the two radome screws in the front, which opens a generous chamber in the deck. Thus the rechargeable batteries can be changed within seconds. The yacht is being switched on by plugging in the golden connectors at the outside of the stern. This method securely separates the rechargeable batteries from the components and leakage currents are not possible. Acoustic signals from the engines indicate their readiness for operation.
