The Twinstorm is a great pleasure to drive, made possible through a very well-engineered and powerful construction. You can really feel the guys at Kyosho’s use all of their legendary expertise from the automobile industry on this model.
The screw propeller is perfectly adjusted to both 550’ engines and provides for high speed. The two powerful, water cooled electric motors that are coupled to the highly efficient hydraulic boat transmission via a gearbox, virtually make the boat fly above the water.
The boat ships ready to start, the drive engineering and the RC components are fully assembled and adjusted.
All heavy units are supported around their centre of gravity allowing for a vivid and safe cruise across the water. The two powerful 550’ engines are water cooled and coupled to the shafting via a gearbox. The battery packs are placed beside it.
The RC system is kept nearly impermeable because it is placed inside a watertight box. This box is covered by a clear plate that can be caulked with some tape – a solution that is rather simple and easy to maintain. The hydraulic boat transmission can be adjusted in its inclination.
