Regatta tuning
We use our own boats for days on end - on events or exhibitions (e.g. 9 days at the “Boot Düsseldorf”, 8-12 hours a day). The experiences from these long-term runs under the hardest possible conditions are integrated into our tuning products and solutions.Optimised sheet guiding
To prevent the sheets from getting stuck on the battery box, we invented an optimised guidance for both main sheet and foresheet. If you click on the picture on the right-hand side, you will get an enlarged view for printing and rebuilding.AC-safety tuning-package for purchase on ordering a boat
- 1. The servos are unscrewed at the bottom and sprayed with Wet Protect.
- 2. Die Servos werden in kleine Tütchen gepackt, damit Wasser im Schiff nicht gleich eindringen kann.
- 3.Plugs, switches, battery box and receiver are sprayed with Wet Protect.
- 4. The cover of the front hatch is sealed with tape.
- 5. The foam in the back hatch is replaced by sealing tape.
- 6. DThe sheet guidance is optimised to prevent the sheets from getting stuck on the battery box (see above).
- 7. The ends of the sheets are secured with knots to prevent the sheets from slipping into the boat.
AC-regatta tuning-kit/service
- 1. The sail servo is replaced by a plain and more powerful servo that is mounted to the centre of the aluminium subplate.
- 2. The sheet guidance is optimised to make the sheets run smoothly and directly with little friction. To achieve this, a laser-cut sail servo arm with 2 blocks is installed and the sheet is replaced by Spectra.
- 3. The ends of the sheets are secured with knots to prevent the sheets from slipping into the boat.
- 4. The cover of the front hatch is sealed with tape.
- 5. . The cross web in the back hatch is removed
- 6. The black tank for the receiver, switch and transmitter (incl. the switches) is removed.
- 7. The rudder-servo is replaced by a micro servo that is screwed onto the back fittings of the tank with a special aluminium bracket. The rudder is operated via chords that can be adjusted using clamp slides
- 8. The foam in the back hatch is replaced by sealing tape.
- 9. The servos, plugs, battery box and receiver are opened (unscrewed) and sprayed with Wet Protect on the inside.
